Lisa Fee
BIO
Miss Lisa has a B.A. in English Literature from Southern Illinois University where she minored in Creative Writing and History. She has had several poems published in a variety of literary magazines. She has worked professionally as an editor, proofreader, and writer. She has also developed and directed youth volunteer programs for various not for profits, as well as, owned and operated her own businesses. As the daughter of a teacher, she acquired a love of learning at a young age. She began reading at age three and never stopped. She is a lifelong learner who has read hundreds of books and continued to study Philosophy, Folktales and Mythology, Religion, History, and Art. In addition to her service as a tutor, she is currently working on writing and editing a collaborative web site to publish a book and developing an educational interview and writing outreach program on ordinary people with extraordinary lives, entitled: Unsung Heroes, A Living American History. She is also a freelance creative specializing in nonprofit fundraising.
